O´ahu
During our 9 hour flight from Atlanta to Honolulu we met some folks on the plane who live on O´ahu near Kailua, two sisters in fact that moved to the Kailua area and told us that it has some of the better beach front on O´ahu. With powder sand and off the beaten path from Waikiki Beach, which is the major tourist area. On the drive to find a beach in Kailua we were in awe of the pure beauty of the landscape, beaches, and water fronts.

Hanauma Bay
Only a 5 minute drive from the Bed and Breakfast that we lived in for 6 nights and located in Hawaii´Kai, or about 30 minutes north of Honolulu. We got there early around 8:30 am and stayed until 4:00 pm to enjoy the beach and snorkeling.
View of the bay and the beautiful reef system, we saw many fish and corals on our snorkeling ventures.
